# 참고로 민구홍은…

Born March 5, 1985. I studied literature and linguistics at Chung-Ang University and computer programming at the School for Poetic Computation (SFPC) in the US (though I prefer to call it “literature and linguistics in a narrow sense,” or simply “poetic computation”), and learned various practical skills, including knot tying, ikebana, and design, through Google. I worked as a researcher in Professor Ahn Sang-soo’s laboratory at Hongik University (also known as “Wing House”) (despite the title, there was hardly any work to do). After working in the Publishing Division at Ahn Graphics, I work as an editor at Workroom. Meanwhile, I run the one-person company Min Guhong Manufacturing. Books I have translated include Forget All the Rules About Graphic Design. Including the Ones in This Book. (Studio Ghost, 2017).

![Bob Gill, Forget All the Rules About Graphic Design. Including the Ones in This Book., Studio Ghost, 2017. A monograph and graphic design textbook by the legendary American graphic designer. “In this book he stresses the importance of (re)defining the problem in design. First, does a problem ask the right question? If not, redefining it is far more important than finding an answer. He introduces works of his own that follow or violate this principle. Is redefining a problem important only in design? No. It matters in much of life, especially in any field of art. It means recognizing art’s recipient—its counterpart—while reconsidering your own perspective, a process essential to keeping your wit fresh.” (Song Seungeon, poet)](https://minguhong.fyi/images/forget-all-the-rules-about-graphic-design-including-the-ones-in-this-book-1.png)
